Start with the product and destination
How to import products into China depends on the actual goods and their intended use. Record product identity, composition or technical specification, origin and intended buyers. Separate samples, retail stock and equipment. A logistics plan starts with these distinctions rather than a generic document checklist.
Identify the responsible parties and import route
State the overseas seller, consignee, intended domestic importer and proposed sales channel. General-trade import and cross-border retail-import routes should be assessed for their own requirements. A storage contract does not automatically establish the lawful importer or product registration arrangements.
Prepare information for document review
Assemble a draft commercial invoice, packing details, product descriptions and proposed classification. Add producer, ingredient, safety or technical information as relevant to the product. Check that quantities, values and units can be reconciled across records. This is a preparation checklist, not a universal list of documents sufficient for release.
Connect clearance to the warehouse plan
Describe the arrival point, storage conditions, receiving requirements and final delivery. Agree who resolves missing documents, damaged cargo and discrepancies. TAPO can assess warehousing, customs coordination and transport within a contracted scope; the product-specific route is confirmed before booking.
