Identify the equipment and components
An electronics warehouse assessment in China needs exact models, intended use and the proposed import route. State whether products contain batteries, magnets or other components relevant to storage and transport. Warehouse availability does not determine certification, import eligibility or transport acceptance.
Define serial and lot tracking
Explain whether the business needs model-level quantities, batch references or individual serial numbers. Provide identifiers on both the product and the carton. Agree when serials are captured and how missing or duplicate records are resolved before goods become available for dispatch.
Provide environmental and handling specifications
Send the manufacturer’s humidity, temperature, electrostatic protection and packaging requirements where applicable. Describe fragile screens and sensitive components. Specific protective facilities or procedures are assessed for the project; they are not assumed from the existence of ordinary or cold storage.
Keep returns and repair scope explicit
Distinguish unopened returns, damaged items and products needing diagnostics or repair. Technical testing and repair are separate tasks requiring confirmation. TAPO can assess the storage and contracted logistics scope with stock status and exception handling defined before operations.
