Identify each formulation and sales route
A cosmetics bonded warehouse brief in China should distinguish product identity, formulation, intended use and sales channel. Give the proposed import route and any existing registration or filing references. A warehouse contract does not replace product-specific regulatory responsibilities.
Set batch and shelf-life controls
Provide batch coding, expiry or period-of-use information, carton identifiers and units per carton. Specify what must remain visible after picking and packing. Separate damaged, leaking or returned items from saleable stock and define who approves their next step.
Review packaging and storage conditions
Send manufacturer temperature and humidity specifications. Identify glass containers, aerosol formats, alcohol content or other handling characteristics requiring assessment. Frozen or deep-cold capacity at Hongqiao does not imply the correct conditions for a beauty product; its specification determines the requirement.
Agree value-added work before arrival
Supply approved artwork and instructions for any labels, promotional packs or gift sets. Specify whether the outer pack or the product itself is to be changed. The trade route, product rules and permitted warehouse work must support the proposed task. TAPO assesses the scope and associated handling costs before work is committed.
