Separate the food storage requirements
A food bonded warehouse assessment in China needs the specific product and its required conditions. Shelf-stable beverages, frozen products and foods with short shelf life need different handling plans. Provide manufacturer specifications instead of using the broad category name as a temperature instruction.
Make shelf life part of the stock rules
List manufacture and expiry dates, batch references and the minimum remaining shelf life expected by each buyer. Define how stock near its release threshold is flagged. Agree whether the picking rule is first-expiry-first-out and how any customer-specific batch restriction is applied.
Connect product acceptance to the import route
Provide ingredients, origin, producer information, proposed classification and intended sales route. For overseas food producers, check the applicable registration requirements against the current official process. Cold-storage availability does not establish a product’s permission to enter China or the acceptance of a particular food category.
Prepare receiving and dispatch instructions
Explain packaging, pallet dimensions, permitted stacking and the handling of leaks or damaged cartons. Supply the arrival condition and the temperature specification throughout unloading and delivery where required. TAPO assesses acceptance, storage and contracted coordination before a shipment is booked.
