Separate part identity from fitment descriptions
An auto parts bonded warehouse brief in China should contain manufacturer part numbers and packaging identifiers. Vehicle or fitment descriptions alone can be ambiguous. Explain how replacements, superseded part numbers and buyer-specific references are handled in the stock record.
Describe weight, dimensions and handling
Provide package dimensions, individual and pallet weights, stacking rules and lifting instructions. Identify oils, chemicals, batteries or other characteristics requiring separate assessment. A published rack parameter does not establish acceptance of an automotive component or the handling method for it.
Define the replenishment and traceability rules
Specify distributor orders, service-centre replenishment or emergency requests without assuming an unconfirmed delivery promise. Include batch or serial tracking requirements and the packing rules for mixed orders. Agree how shortage, damage and incorrect part identifiers are reported.
Prepare the distribution assessment
Send the part list, packaging data, proposed customs status and delivery points. Include appointment and unloading requirements at each destination. TAPO reviews the contracted storage, customs coordination and transport scope for the actual parts and route.
