Define the purpose of each exhibition item
Bonded exhibition logistics in China starts with the event, the goods and their destination after the display. Separate demonstration units, samples, display materials and inventory intended for sale. An exhibition invitation does not establish the customs procedure or permission to sell a product.
Plan the movement calendar
Give the venue, receiving window, stand setup date, event dates and collection deadline. List the goods needed for installation first and any packaging that must be retained for the return movement. The logistics plan should identify who can receive the cargo at the venue and how discrepancies are reported.
Record what can happen during display
Describe opening, sampling, demonstrations and any intended sales. These activities need procedure-specific review. Agree a way to track each item, its condition and any change in quantity. Goods leaving a supervised facility for a display cannot be treated as an ordinary warehouse delivery without checking the permitted movement.
Decide the destination before the event ends
Allocate items to return overseas, further supervised storage or a separately assessed domestic import. Keep the original packing references and record changes during the event. TAPO can discuss coordination for the proposed warehouse and transport scope; event-specific eligibility, permissions and deadlines are confirmed for the project.
